To pursue the nursing aspect you will have to obtain a bachelors in nursing and certify as a nurse. I am quite positive on this aspect - in particular obtain your RN certification. Once you have obtained that then you pursue either the MS in Nursing Administration / MBA. Here is a question? Do you realize there is an equivalent to the MBA for those within the medical careers. It is a Master's of Public Health or Public Health Administration. These programs are designed for public health proffessionals who are seeking to advance into management levelsin the design, implementation, and administration of public health agencies. If I were you and this was my goal then I would possibly consider this route: BS in Nursing then National Certification as RN then Master's of Public Health. The MPH will provide you with the information / and background that combines the Masters of Science in Nursing Administration and the MBA for health professionals. If you already have attained your bachelor's degree then the option mentioned by the previous poster would be the choice I would select. My suggested option works under the assumption that you have not attained your bachelor's degree. If you have a bachelor's already there is no reason to reinvent the wheel.
