Jobs for someone with a master of international business, but no job experience?
-I've only had a semester long internship with an international company. -I'm still learning Spanish but I'm not fluent enough. -I've had two study abroad experiences which were both in Australia for a total of 2 years I was advised to get a masters by several professors. I don't regret my decision! It's the best thing I've done. "Sorry"...

Hired and fired hundreds over the last 40 years. I always suggest an applicant gets his/her BBA a few years of experience then attack the Masters program. Some listen some don't....those who don't are overqualified concerning education and under-qualified concerning experience.......sorry.

Usually it is a better idea to get a bachelor's degree in something else, if you are going to get an MBA later on. But in most cases, what you do is to work for a few years, and then apply to go to an MBA program.

Yes, I currently have an AA (Associate in Arts) but I am a Senior finishing up my BBA (bachelors of business administration) and will be moving on to my MBA in the Fall next year. PS My BBA is actually focus in Management, HR. So you should also do something specific and not general if you plan on getting your MBA. Also you could apply MBA to another degree even something like Nursing or whatnot. An MBA would amplify your degree. This is a common college path :) Good luck.

After your undergrad, you'll need to work for several years before applying to any top MBA program. The value of the undergrad business degree is that it can lead you to a good/applicable career in business. This will give you great experience to bring to the classroom (for your understanding of the class material and others') and will help you write your essays that show why you are ready to pursue an MBA.

What graduate degree to get in business. MBA, Master of Business, Master of Commerce etc
What graduate degree to get in business. MBA, Master of Business, Master of Commerce etc.?
I have my undergrad degree in business, but wanted to go for my Masters. But there are so many different degrees out there, so I am a little confused. The MBA for instance. I have been told numerous times that it is mainly for people who do not have an undergrad degree in business and teaches them how to run a business. Specializations are also available with this degree. The Master of Business etc.: This seems to be a business degree for which an undergrad degree in business is required. Here there are specializations available as well. I am unsure which of those one to choose. When I take a look at the curriculum, the MBA seems a lot easier as it just teaches the most basic classes in business that I already took. The Masters seems much harder as you need to have an undergrad degree in business already and therefore builds up on that. I am very unsure what degree to go for. I know that the MBA has a high repuation in the States, but I feel as if the classes are just a repeat of what I already learned. I already went to lectures at good schools and it just confirmed my thinking. But what degree will be better regarded? I know that they are both Master degrees.

hi You are confused so first become a Graduate B COM, BSC OR BA whatever may be then go for Master degree like MBA.MCOM MSC MA etc.But one thing is clear that there is water in the ponds, in a RiverAND ALSO IN A SEA.So do not under estimate in the study.wish u all the best.for further education related help visit:http://www.indiastudychannel.com/resources/

Masters gives you specialization while MBA gives you general managerial skills. I personally believe that the way forward is through specialization. Go for the Masters as it will help you hone the technical specific skills you would have gained at the Bachelors level.
